The Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary

The Holy Rosary Fraternity of Summit is privileged to hold meetings at a monastery of cloistered Dominican nuns, the similarly named Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Meetings begin with the Rosary in the nuns’ public chapel, where Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration throughout the day.

Masses of Profession and the devotions held in May and October also take place in this chapel.

Meetings are held in St. Dominic’s Hall, as are receptions for other events.

Our fraternity is truly blessed, not only in the beauty of our location, but in the bond we enjoy with our cloistered sisters.

The nuns of Our Lady of the Rosary support us with their prayers, invite us to join in their prayer, and provide their magnificent choral music for many fraternity events.

In addition, the monastery chapel contains a little-known relic: a replica of the Shroud of Turin, stained with the blood from the original. The cloth was laid over the Shroud, whereupon the blood of the heart-wound became damp and seeped into the copy. Read the remarkable story of the image’s origins and how it came to the monastery at Summit.
